Vitra VG is the result of fanatical material selection, such that this model cannot be
mass produced.
Every board must be carefully selected for its vertical grain, which represents less
than 10% of the available supply but it is highly desirable for saunas.
Our partners assist us in material selection based on their advanced knowledge in
key areas.
Vitra FG and Vitra MPG are both produced with flat grain wood. Ninety percent of a
sliced tree is flat grain.
